Turn a list of companies into researched, verified, personalized cold email rows. Inside Google Sheets.

Paste company names. ColdSheet finds the website, reads it, finds and verifies the email, and writes a first line that mentions something real about them. It runs on your own OpenAI, Anthropic, and Hunter keys, so there is no markup on usage and no monthly bill from us.

How it works

Three minutes to set up. Then it is a menu item in your sheet.

Copy the template

One click makes your own copy. Nothing installs, nothing leaves your Google account except the calls to the providers you choose.

Add your keys

An OpenAI, Anthropic, or OpenRouter key for writing. A Hunter key if you want emails found and verified. Optional SerpAPI key for website lookup. You pay them directly at their rates.

Run on a list

Pick a step or the whole pipeline, choose the rows, run. Results are written as values so nothing re-runs by accident and costs you twice.

What it does

Finds the website

From a company name, using Hunter or a search key, with a plain guess and check as the fallback.

Reads the site

Homepage and about page. Returns a two sentence summary, what they sell, and one concrete detail worth mentioning.

Finds and verifies emails

Hunter finder and verifier on your account. Confidence scores land in their own columns so you can filter.

Writes first lines that pass as human

One sentence, under 22 words, one specific fact, no compliments, no exclamation marks. A banned phrase list catches "I noticed" and "impressive" and rewrites the line.

Knows what you sell

Tell it your offer once. Openers stay relevant to the pitch without pitching.

Exports to your sender

One click builds a tab with the exact headers Instantly, Smartlead, or lemlist expect. Rows without a usable email are left out.

Or use it as formulas

For one-off cells and quick checks. Every formula caches, so recalculation does not spend your key again.

=CS_DOMAIN(company)

Website from a name.

=CS_RESEARCH(domain, "signal")

Summary, what they sell, or one detail.

=CS_EMAIL(first, last, domain)

Find an email.

=CS_VERIFY(email)

deliverable, risky, or undeliverable.

=CS_FIRSTLINE(first, company, domain)

The opener.

=CS_AI(prompt, cell)

Any instruction on your own key.

Try it first: the template works without a license for 25 runner rows and 50 formula calls a day. Copy it from the link in the FAQ.

Questions

Why bring my own keys?

Because a one time price cannot fund unlimited AI and data lookups forever. Tools that try eventually cut limits or shut down. With your own keys you pay cents per row directly to OpenAI or Hunter, and the sheet keeps working no matter what happens to us.

How much does a row cost me?

Research plus a first line is roughly 2,000 tokens. On a small model that is well under a cent. A Hunter email find is one credit on your Hunter plan. The runner shows an estimate before you start.

Where are my keys stored?

In the settings of your copy of the spreadsheet, on Google's side. They are shared with anyone you give edit access to that sheet. They are never sent to our server.

What does your server see?

Your license key, the email you activate with, and a check once a day that the license is still valid. No sheet contents, no company names, no keys.

Google shows a warning when I first run it. Why?

The script is not published through Google's add-on store, which is what lets it ship as a copyable template. On first run click Advanced, then Go to ColdSheet. You do this once per copy.

Can I try it before buying?

Yes. Copy the template. Without a license it runs 25 rows a day through the runner and 50 formula calls. Enough to see if the first lines are good on your list.

I bought on AppSumo. Where is my key?

Click Redeem on your AppSumo purchase. It brings you to a page that issues your ColdSheet key and emails it to you. If you already have your AppSumo license code, enter it here.

Refunds?

30 days, no questions, from us. AppSumo purchases follow AppSumo's 60 day policy.
